NABERS is a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of Australian buildings, tenancies and homes. Put simply, NABERS measures the energy efficiency, water usage, waste management and indoor environment quality of a building or tenancy and its impact on the environment.
33 Alfred Street fully retains its existing structure to extend the life of the building and minimise material waste. It will be a carbon neutral building for operations against scope 1 and 2 emissions. The building is targeting a 5.5-star NABERS Energy rating for base building, as well as 6-star Green Office As Built v3 rating.
